Intruder alarms
An Ajax alarm is built around a hub that talks to wireless detectors on doors, windows and in each room, so it can be fitted in a finished home without lifting floors or chasing walls. Detectors run for years on their batteries and report their status back to the hub, so you're told when something needs attention. Some motion detectors take a quick photo when they're triggered, so you can see what set the alarm off before deciding what to do.

CCTV and video surveillance
With CCTV, you can view clear footage on your phone, get alerts when it matters and look back through recordings when you need them. Cameras are placed to cover the areas that count, installed neatly and set up so they're easy to use.
Ajax makes wired and Wi-Fi cameras, video doorbells and network video recorders that join the same system as your alarm. Cameras use built-in AI to tell people, pets and vehicles apart, so you get alerts about what matters rather than every passing cat or car. Video is linked to alarm events: tap a notification and you go straight to the footage from the cameras around the house at that moment.

Fire and life safety
Ajax's home fire detectors pick up smoke, heat and, on some models, carbon monoxide. Each one has its own siren and keeps working even if it loses power or its link to the hub. When they're connected to the hub, one detector going off sets off the others too, so everyone in the house hears it. You also get an alert on your phone wherever you are.

Everything is run from the Ajax app on iPhone and Android, with desktop and smartwatch versions too. Notifications tell you what happened, where and who was involved, and urgent alarms will sound even when your phone is on silent. You can set reminders to arm the alarm when you leave and disarm it when you get home. If you'd like someone else watching, an Ajax system can be connected to a professional monitoring centre, which can receive alarms, photos and video for checking. iSmart does not provide that monitoring itself.

Works with your Control4 smart home
If you have Control4, or are planning it, your Ajax alarm can be part of it. A Control4 driver lets you see the alarm status, arm and disarm it, and follow what's happening from Control4 touchscreens and the Control4 app. It works with all Ajax hubs and the main detectors, including motion, door, glass-break, leak and fire detectors.
